On another note, what do you people think of my tablet art versus my traditional marker drawings?
edit: i just looked at some of my old pictures. And october 13 2003 i wrote this:
"not to accurate and not so new.
but i thought i need to post stuff to get rid of those not so pixelated images that keep getting posted here."
Shonegold must have really cleaned the place up in the months she was a mod.
Also I switched my featured deviation.

98% of all Teens deny their belief in Christ. If your the other 2% you will put this in your sig!
And I would prefer drawing with traditional markers. Firstly because I have a certain dislike against tablets without good arguments... Just don't like them!
Secondly, I think drawings are much richer and more vivid and more "what you wanted it to look like when it finished".
My third reason is that you have much more freedom and space to draw anything you want... Like, try sketching on paper and on the computer... you'll notice on paper you start a lot faster with doodling because it's more natural or something...!
Ha... Well, hope it did make any sense!
.PNG
.GIF
Both of the types support transparency, though .PNG can be 32bit, meaning you can have opacity and alpha-gradients.
On the other hand, you can have animated pixel-art with the .GIF file type.
Other than that; .GIF is only limited to 256 colors (8 bit) meaning you can't have more than 256 self-defined colors.
Also some editing software doesn't allow self-defined colors for .GIF file types and reduces the colors to the predefined 256 colors that are in the standard .GIF color palette.
Hope that helped a bit!
